How it works
Built from ACTH(4-10)
A seven–amino acid peptide taken from a fragment of ACTH, with a proline-glycine-proline tail added so it resists breakdown. The hormonal effects of ACTH are not included.
Raises BDNF
In animal studies it increases brain-derived neurotrophic factor, the protein that supports the growth and survival of neurons.
Affects dopamine and serotonin
Influences both systems in animal research, which is the proposed basis for the focus and mood effects.
Short-acting
It clears quickly, which is why it is dosed in the morning and why the effect is not sedating.
