The tail end of growth hormone
A 16–amino acid fragment of the C-terminus of human growth hormone, the region linked to fat breakdown.
Targets fat breakdown
In animal studies it stimulates lipolysis and reduces new fat formation, apparently through beta-3 adrenergic signalling in fat tissue.
Leaves IGF-1 alone
Because the growth-promoting region is not included, it does not raise IGF-1.
No effect on blood sugar
Human studies found no change in glucose or insulin sensitivity, which is the main safety advantage.
Animal studies showed fat breakdown; human weight-loss trials did not show a meaningful benefit.
