The science
How it works
Supports the follicle
In lab studies, GHK-Cu lengthened hair follicles and increased growth of the cells at their base.
Blood supply
It raises VEGF, the signal that grows the small blood vessels feeding each follicle.
Calms the scalp
Its anti-inflammatory effect may help follicles stressed by scalp inflammation.
The hair evidence comes from lab and animal studies. There are no large human trials of GHK-Cu for hair loss.

A note from Dr. Wright
For thinning hair I think of GHK-Cu as a scalp and follicle supporter, not a stand-alone fix. It works best alongside proven treatments: minoxidil, finasteride for men, and PRP in the office, after checking for common causes such as low iron, thyroid problems, or low vitamin D. Expect a slow, months-long timeline.
