How telehealth works in Idaho
Idaho’s Virtual Care Access Act allows a physician to establish care by video, as long as the Idaho standard of care is met. Before anything is prescribed, Dr. Wright takes your history, reviews your symptoms and medications, and documents a diagnosis. Idaho does not allow prescribing from an online questionnaire alone.
What Dr. Wright tells you at your first visit
Idaho asks physicians to identify themselves clearly at the first virtual visit. Dr. Wright will give you his name, his Idaho license number, where he is practicing from, and a phone number for the practice. He will also confirm your identity and your location in Idaho.
What to expect
- A private video visit with Dr. Wright. You must be physically located in Idaho at the time of the visit.
- If a treatment is right for you, it is prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy and shipped overnight to your address in Idaho, ready to use.
- A 30-day check-in is included with your first visit, and lab monitoring where your treatment calls for it.
